GLOBAL CLIMATE AND SDG ENGAGEMENT

International service-learning modules or internships​

The African Higher Education and NGO network Greening Africa Together is offering up from October 2022 in collaboration with the TU Berlin and other Global South and Europe partners, the Modules Global Climate and SDG Engagement I & II. (Replacing the previous Greening Africa Together Module)​

The modules can be validated as study credits or internships according to the participating Universities. Students from all partner universities can join and learn how to plan, implement and monitor sustainable projects for climate and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with local communities.​

PROJECT FIELDS: Photovoltaics (electrification of off-grid schools and maternities), Biofuels (biogas and Fuelbriquettes to replace firewood ), Forestry (Community Forests and Agro-forestry), Organic Agriculture and Food Processing (Solar dryers or Solar mills for women groups), Water Access (Solar wells), Waste management (Recycling and Waste reduction providing income for women groups or schools).

PARTNER COUNTRIES: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, DR Congo, Germany, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo, Türkiye and Uganda.
